You do not also need to decide:

That’s where I come in.

A May wedding naturally looks different from an August wedding.
May flowers bring many scented flowers in softer tones. June brings peonies. The heat of July typially brings echinacea then lisi's and dahlias and late August begins to bring on berries...
Spring may bring delicate, airy flowers and fresh greens. Summer becomes abundant and colorful. Late summer and early fall bring richer texture, deeper tones, and flowers that simply couldn’t have existed earlier in the year.
Weather and bloom times are always changing, so specific varieties and exact shades can’t be guaranteed.
Instead, your flowers reflect the season you chose to get married in.
That is part of what makes them special.
Start With a Color Feeling
You certainly don’t have to give up color.
Your bridesmaid dresses, suits, linens, invitations, venue, and other wedding details are incredibly helpful when I’m choosing flowers.
From there, most weddings tend to lean toward one of three general color stories:
Soft + Romantic
A lighter, gentler feeling with softer seasonal tones and lower contrast.
Bright + Joyful
Cheerful color, stronger contrast, and plenty of life and energy.
Classic + Elegant
A quieter, refined feeling using the best light and neutral seasonal blooms available.
These are directions, not flower recipes.
The exact flowers and shades will change with the gardens — and that’s exactly how it should be.
